Hi, Matt with etrailer, and today we're talking about our Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Roof Box on top of our 2024 Toyota Sienna. This is gonna be a great option for you and if you're running outta space in the back of your car, whether you have a lot of people back there already, or you already have a lot of gear back here, too, it's gonna be more ideal for your longer items. Anything like skis or that extra luggage that you don't want sitting outside of your vehicle getting wet. So let's check it out. The concern you might have, especially since a lot of Siennas do come with factory bars, is will this fit or not Well, if you look right here, we still have plenty of room to clamp on around that bar. Even though this is thinner, we still have a really snug fit. more

I'm Adam with etrailer. And today we're talking about the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 roof box on top of our 2020 Toyota Highlander. This is a great option for you if you're running outta space in the back of your car and you need to put your items somewhere else, this is a great option for you, especially if you wanna keep 'em out of the elements. The first thing we're gonna take a look at is the inside of the box. So we're gonna have to open it up using our included key and unlocking this. When I push it up, you notice it's a little stiff, but it's gonna be held in place by those hinge locks, and that's gonna allow me to keep it open without using my arms to keep it open. more

Inno Portable Rooftop Cargo Box Installation - 2021 Toyota Rav4- Video
Hey, everyone, it's Evangeline here at Etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at our small cargo quick base system for your roof, and we're gonna take a look at how it fits our 2021 Toyota RAV4. So this is part of the Inno quick base system where, as long as you get an Inno quick base, you can mount your different cargo accessories to your roof or to your hitch super quickly and easily. Now, this is gonna consist of two components where we have our quick base tray for the roof and we have our gear carry six cubic foot cargo box. So this is gonna be one of my favorite kits available here at Etrailer just because it makes for a very portable system. It does sit on the smaller sides in terms of cargo space, but that's just what you get for having something that's very easy to move around. more

Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2023 Toyota Highlander- Video
Hi, Matt with etrailer, and today we we're gonna be talkin' about the Yakima Skybox NX 16 rooftop cargo box on the 2023 Toyota Highlander. Now the Highlander does have a lot of space, especially in the back hatch area over here, but if you fill it up all the way with additional people in that third row, you might be very limited on the space. So if you're hauling any gear or luggage or camping supplies, this roof box is gonna be a great option to keep your items safe, secured, and kind of outta the way so you can fit more people in your vehicle. Now you won't be able to install the the sky box if you don't have a roof rack so always make sure you have a roof rack that is compatible with your roof box. Your sky box is gonna come with two included keys and that'll just be used to access your handle right up here just in that lock core. The nice thing about this roof box is you have two handles on each side so you can access it from either side and, to open it up, you just gotta push and you'll feel it lock in place with these hinge locks on the side. more

Today on our 2015 Toyota 4Runner we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima CBX Rooftop Cargo Box. This cargo box is huge. It's pretty big, so if you have a bigger vehicle like the 4Runner, it's gonna be a great option for you. But if you do have a smaller car, we put it on a RAV4 and it looked a little out of place because it was massive compared to a smaller compact SUV. We also have a 16 cubic foot one available as well. So it'll be a little bit shorter. more

Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we'll be taking a look at how the Yakima SkyBox NX 18 roof cargo box fits on our 2014 Toyota Prius V. So if you're going on big adventures and you have a lot of cargo, you need a big box. So if you're familiar with the Yakima Sky Box design it's very versatile where you have a good amount of height for your larger cargo as well as a good amount of width or length. Now this is going to be the SkyBox NX18, so it's the larger sky box and it's new and improved, so the upgraded version and the main thing with the Toyota Prius V with me putting this box on here is I'm really surprised it fits so well. We have this large box, we have all that cargo space but I do not compromise with opening up the hatch. So we have hatch clearance and full visibility in the front. more

Yes, your Prius v has a lot of cargo space with it already, but maybe you need a little bit more, or your inside is already filled with all of your friends and your family, so that's where a rooftop cargo box like the NX 16 can come in handy. I'm already a huge fan of the versatility of the SkyBox, this takes that versatility and adds some ease of use features to make it easier to put onto the roof as well as to load cargo in it. So this has 16 cubic feet of space, so it's on a larger end when it comes to roof boxes. Now, does it fit our Prius v Yes, it obviously does. The one big thing that I am always thinking about when it comes to boxes on the Prius v is the hatch clearance. more

Rhino-Rack MasterFit Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2015 Toyota 4Runner- Video
Today, we'll be taking a look at our Rhino-Rack Rooftop Cargo Box, this is the MasterFit, that's 18 1/2 cubic feet, and we'll see how it fits on our 2015 Toyota 4Runner. So you have your 4Runner and you're ready for adventure, but what if you need to carry around your other sports equipment, maybe you have extra long skis or snowboards or other gear that you would rather not have to store inside your vehicle That's where the MasterFit can come in handy. So compared to some of your other boxes, this is gonna be more sleek, more low-profile, more aerodynamic, but then, you also don't have as much height for your cargo capacity. Another thing with this is when you have your extra large boxes, you'll be concerned about hatch clearance, this one just barely makes the cut, but it works. So yes, I know with your 4Runner if you need to access your hatch, you can just lower the hatch window, but what if you need to open up the hatch door So with this box isolated as far forward as it can go on the track system, the crossbars are as far forward on the raised rails as they can get, and lifting this hatch, you can see it goes all the way up, and then at the very top, it just barely touches the box, but there's no weight on it. And if you're concerned about garage clearance, measuring from the top of our roof to the top of the roof box, it is gonna add 21 1/2 inches to the top. more

Today on our 2015 Toyota 4Runner we're gonna be taking a look at the Thule Force XT Rooftop Cargo Box. The Thule Force XT is a very premium style rooftop cargo box and it is gonna be a very good looking one as well. We're gonna have the black arrow skin which has a nice little texture to it. I like that compared to the glossy just because it doesn't scratch up as easy but this is gonna be a great storage solution for all of the seasons. And this is the biggest box that we carry. The Thule roof box is gonna be designed for a lot of different stuff. more

Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Thule Force XT XXL Rooftop Cargo Box here on our 2017 Toyota Highlander. Now, like the name suggests, this box is very large. It's one of the largest ones we offer, giving you 22 cubic feet of capacity. Now, I'll go ahead and open it up here by twisting that gray knob with the key in it and popping the lid open, so you can get a look inside. We've just got a few things in there right now, we've got a tent and we have a pair of skis. Now, like I said, this is a very large box and a very long box, I see this being something for even the longest skis you can find. more

This is gonna free up a lot of the space on the inside of your 4Runner, so you can put more people in here, put all their stuff up there, so it is a nice spacious ride. There's a couple of features that I look for in a box and one is the locks. So we do have locks on this one. Thule Roof Box Review - 2019 Toyota RAV4- Video
Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the Thule Force XT Sport Rooftop Cargo Box, here on our 2019, Toyota RAV4. So this can be a very decent way of getting some of your gear out of your vehicle and on the top of your roof, that way starts freeing up a lot of leg room, a lot more storage item for stuff you don't really primarily want on the outside of your vehicle. This can be excellent for stuff like ski's, a little bit of coolers in there, duffle bags for sure, whatever really accessories we wanna get on here, we definitely can. Now, with 11 cu ft, still a pretty decent size here, and I like how it's not taking up too much room though with our Toyota, Rav4. So, even though it is a little high-profile, sits up a little tall, it's not over, you know, dominating our entire RAV4, here. Definitely doesn't look out of place, which I do like to see. more

Yakima GrandTour Lo Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2017 Toyota RAV4- Video
Hey, everybody welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the Yakima GrandTour Lo rooftop box here on our 2017 Toyota RAV4. So this is gonna be an excellent way of helping you manage a little bit of your cargo that you wanna bring with you, and primarily, could you find yourself skiing and snowboarding, this just might be the rooftop box for you. Why is that Well, we do have some pretty nice features here with 15 cubic feet and 165 pounds of weight capacity, and boasting enough room for up to 215 centimeter long skis and snowboards, this is gonna be a great little rooftop box for you. One thing I like about it too, pretty low profile, if you're comparing this to something like the regular GrandTour you can see, not as much room going towards the top, and really maximizing the length we have here today. So, with a 91 inch long exterior length here you can see, quite large. However, it does look pretty good here on the RAV4. more

So this is an interesting cargo box in that it's not really designed as a rooftop cargo box, you can definitely see those options here at etrailer, like the Yakima CBX, where it's a lot more aerodynamic. So this is a ladder rack cargo box, a little bit different from the rooftop cargo boxes you might've seen around. You can see it's not as aerodynamic, but it has its own special features. This one is super easy to take off and carry into your camp site. Then you have the hard shell tote to keep it on top of your vehicle when you're driving. more

Hi, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we'll be taking a look at the Yakima CBX Rooftop Cargo Box. So it has two different sizes, 18 cubic feet or 16 cubic feet. We'll take a look at the large one, which is the 18, right here, on our 2021 Toyota Tacoma. So this is a rooftop cargo box, but as you can see, we have it here on our ladder rack, on our Toyota Tacoma. So this is the Yakima OverHaul HD, and we have the extra large HD bars. So I was really curious about, was it gonna fit on our ladder rack How much space do we have around it Will it fit around our larger bars So we're gonna take a look in this test fit at the answers to all those questions and just see how it works and interacts with other things on there too. more

Yakima CBX Solar Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2017 Toyota RAV4- Video
What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima CBX Solar Rooftop Cargo Box on our 2017 Toyota RAV4. Well, as you can see, we have a pretty large solar panel on top of the box. It's about 38 1/2 inches long by 14 inches wide, and it's gonna put out five volts. So to put that into perspective, a lotta your phone chargers, your iPad chargers, and your GoPro chargers, they all run off of five volts, and we are gonna have a decent amount of amperages going out. We'll get into that a little later. more

Inno Shadow 16 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2021 Toyota 4Runner- Video
Hi everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer.com and today we are looking at our Inno Shadow 16 rooftop cargo box here on our 2021 Toyota 4Runner. This rooftop cargo box has a weight capacity of 110 pounds and 13 cubic feet of cargo space. So this is awesome if you need an extra storage space for bringing your gear like your skis or your snowboards or even just your luggage for when you want to go out and have a great adventure. This has a safety lock system, so one, you can lock it in place so no one can steal the contents of your box. Also, though, if you have it unlocked you can't remove the keys. more

Yakima Roof Box Review - 2012 Toyota 4Runner- Video
So today with the 2012 Toyota 4Runner, we're gonna be doing a test fit on the Yakima Skybox low rooftop cargo box.So this box is gonna allow us to carry gear on the roof of our vehicle. Very similar to a roof mounted basket, except for the box is enclosed. It's gonna keep our gear out of the elements.Now this box has a low profile design, this is what's different about it compared to some of the other boxes out there, it's dimensions are about 92 inches long, 36 inches wide and 11 1/2 inches tall.So it's not gonna be that great for stacking gear on the inside, but it'll be great for those smaller gear items, maybe like skis or snowboards. Now it's gonna, excuse me, it's a universal fit, so it's gonna mount to your round, square, arrow, elliptical and most factory roof rack systems. I've got it attached to my after market roof rack system here on my raised rails of my 4Runner.Again, it's a nice tight fit, it's not going anywhere. But when positioning it on your roof, you want to be sure that you've still got enough room so you open up your rear hatch on your 4Runner. more

Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show you how it works.This is a very easy roof box to install into roof rack system. It simply clamps around your existing roof rack system, as you can see here. Right now, we have it around elliptical bars, but this will also work with square, round, arrow, and most factory roof racks as well. You do want to make sure you at least have a 25 to 28 crossbar spread for this to fit properly and how this fits on, we'll show you.Go ahead and open it up. more

Thule Roof Box Review - 2012 Toyota 4Runner- Video
Today on our 2012 Toyota Forerunner we're doing a test fit of the Thule Flow Rooftop Cargo Box for skis and snowboards. This is going to have 14 cubic feet of space and come in a black color. That part number is TH606. Now this has a total weight capacity of 165 pounds and can carry either six to eight pairs of skis, or two to three snowboards or a combination of the two. We already have most of our box secured down. We're going to show you how to secure the front here. more

Today on our 2012 Toyota 4Runner, we'll be doing a test fit on the Thule Force Large Rooftop Cargo Box. That's part number TH628. It measures 74 inches long, 36 inches wide and 16 1/2 inches high. It offers a 16 cubic feet of space. It also has a nice Aeroskin design to it. I've already got it loaded up on the 4Runner, just to give you a good idea what it looks like. Real quick thing. more

Thule Roof Box Review - 2016 Toyota RAV4- Video
Today on our 2016 Toyota RAV4, we're doing a test fit of the Thule Force large rooftop cargo box. This has 16 cubic feet of space, and the part number for that is TH628. We already have this secured to our roof. Keep in mind that this has a 110 weight capacity, but you do want to check your vehicle's owner's manual to make sure that your vehicle can withstand that much weight. We also have these on our Thule AeroBlade bars here. These do work with round, square, most factory, elliptical, and the Aero bars, so you can use it on multiple different types of bars, not just the Aero ones. We're going to start off, we have 3 of our 4 clamps secured in place. We're going to show you our front passenger's side one here. more

Yakima RocketBox Pro Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Toyota Sienna- Video
Today on our 2015 Toyota Sienna we're going to be doing a test fit of the Yakima Rocket Box Pro 11. This is going to offer eleven cubic feet of cargo space which is going to be perfect for your skis or snowboards. It's going to come in that nice black finish and be part number Y07193. If you look up on top of our Sienna, you'll notice that it does have the factory raised roof rails as well as the factory crossbars and we're going to show you how it fits and looks on that. First thing you want to do is on the back side, make sure that you have the feet open in the receiving position. Our crossbar will actually slide into position locking it all in place. more

Today on our 2015 Toyota Sienna we're going to be doing a test fit of the Yakima RocketBox Pro 14. This is going to have 14 cubic feet of cargo space and come in that nice black finish. It's going to be part number Y07192. As you can see, up on top of our vehicle we already have our factory raised roof rails as well as our factory crossbars in place. We're going to show you how it fits and looks in this application. First thing you'll need to do is make sure that you have the feet loose as far as black turn dial on the inside, which I'll show you in a minute. That way you can adjust your feet up and down and move them into position as necessary. more

Today on our 2015 Toyota Sienna we're going to be doing a test fit of the Inno Shadow Series Cargo Box. This is going to offer thirteen cubic feet of cargo space, and come in that nice gloss black finish. It's going to be part number INBRA1250BK, again that's INBRA1250BK. I'm going to show you how it's mounted up here on top of our factory crossbars and raised roof rails. First thing you're going to want to do is lift it up into place. Once you have it lifted up on top the vehicle you'll see these nice rubber protector rails that are going to protect that debris and stuff coming through. These are where the feet will come through at. more

Inno Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Toyota Sienna INBRA1170CA- Video
Today on our 2015 Toyota Sienna we're going to be doing a test fit of the Inno Shadow Series 11 cubic feet Cargo Box. This is going to have that nice carbon fiber finish, part number INBRA1170CA. Again that's part number INBRA1170CA. Let's go ahead and get it test fitted up here on top of our raised factory roof rails with our factory crossbars. The first thing you want to do is lift it up on top of the vehicle. If you look on the bottom here you'll see that there's going to be a nice rubber slots and grooves for your feet to come through and go around your crossbars. We're going to line it up to where those are going to be toward the back of those rails. more

Inno Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2006 Toyota Prius- Video
Today on our 2006 Toyota Prius, we'll be doing a test fit of the Inno roof mounted cargo box. That's part number INBRA1170CA. To begin our test fit, as you can see I've already set the cargo on top of our roof rack system. Now for our Prius here today, as you can see, I've got the cargo box slid all the way forward so it will clear our antenna as well as clear our rear hatch. With that being done, let's go ahead and connect it to our roof rack system. I want to point out that it will fit most roof rack systems, your round, square, aero, elliptical and factory roof rack systems as well. We've opened it up, turned the key, pressed the button. more
